SOME SAY (12): The bonuses and other benefits they promise are not realistic; they sound too good to be true.

And to them I say: They are realistic and they are true. It surprises you, because you are not used to such realities. You are rather used to being enslaved and exploited, used to being paid peanuts for generating massive wealth for your master or employer. The business world today is so full of capitalist tendencies, whereby the monkey does the work while the baboon savours the rewards. The ideals of network marketing are similar to those of a socialist society, where the masses labour collectively for their collective survival, recognising at the same time that the more you work, the more you earn.

In practice, however, some network marketing companies dilute these ideals with too much exploitation. They weigh down their distributors with Herculean business terms and conditions, which make it difficult for them to reap the fruits of their labour. Tianshi is a company with socialist orientation, a company with a human face, a company which believes in sharing its proceeds equally with its distributors and empowering them to higher personal development and financial freedom. Tianshi is able to win the love of its distributors through its most friendly and most flexible, no-strings-attached business plan.

Any reward given to you for your labour cannot be greater than the labour you put in. So, do not think that the bonuses and other benefits which Tianshi pays you for promoting its products are more than you deserve. If you should cast your net into the river and the net should catch a big fish, would you throw the fish back into the river and say: “This fish is too much a reward for my labour, and it is too big for my frying pan”?

SOME SAY (11): I do not know anybody I can introduce the business to.

And to them I say: Perhaps you mean: “I do not know anybody who will be interested in the business”. That is better than saying: “I do not know anybody I can introduce the business to”. Man is a social being and there is no living human who will say that he does not interact or socialise with others. Think back into the past. Have you ever had cause to seek financial assistance from others? Were you able to find anybody to approach? Did every one of them come to your rescue?

The morale of asking you to reflect into your past is as follows: one, you have people around you, with whom you interact; two, you know how to approach people and make presentations to them; three, only a few (definitely not all) of the people you approach will understand your situation or welcome your ideas and proposals; and four, until you approach people, you will not know who will agree or disagree with you or who will be interested in your business proposal or not.

Since you can approach people and make presentations to them, requesting for financial assistance, I do not want to believe that you cannot approach people and introduce Tianshi to them. Do your own part by approaching them, and let them do their own part by accepting or rejecting your proposal. It is only a lazy man that will refuse to go to the farm in the planting season, claiming that there is a lion on the road. But when the time for harvest comes, he will be the first to go to the farm, ready to fight any lion that dares stand in his way. I know you are not lazy, are you?

SOME SAY (10): Tianshi business is a low class business and people will laugh at me when I tell them about it.

And to them I say: Do you know this saying: “Determination is the key to success”? And this: “The whole world will step aside for the man who knows where he is going”? Indeed, if you know where you are going and you are determined to get there, you will certainly get there successfully.

But do not expect an easy express road. Be prepared to meet and to overcome challenges. Most of the time, obstacles will come your way in human form. Friends and folks will not reason with you; they will not have the same vision as you do. They may laugh at you, but that will not change the fact that you know where you are going.

They say you are doing a low class business, which requires that you tolerate and endure all sorts of people of diverse characters. On the surface, they laugh at you, but, inwardly, they respect you for being able to do what they cannot do. Make patience your watchword. You will cross the initial hurdles and at the end of the tunnel you will find a bright light. Then, it will be your turn to laugh. Remember, he who laughs last laughs best.

SOME SAY (9): I am not a preacher or orator. I cannot speak eloquently and convincingly.

And to them I say: Your ability to talk authoritatively and convincingly will indisputably be an advantage for your Tianshi marketing success, but it is definitely not a prerequisite. There is quite a number of literatures and other educational aids that you can use to enlighten your prospects on Tianshi business without having to talk yourself to exhaustion. Do you know that even the deaf and the dumb do Tianshi, and that Tianshi has produced a Nigerian millionaire and car awardee among the crippled? Adedunni Adebayo is physically handicapped. He goes on crutches, and on crutches he came to the National Stadium, Surulere, in March 2006 and received his brand new BMW car as a token appreciation for his hardwork in Tianshi. Adebayo is neither a preacher nor an orator. He is even handicapped.

SOME SAY (8): I am not a marketer.

And to them I say: Yes, you are a marketer. Everybody is a marketer, but everybody is not of equal expertise. You believe it is only those who read Marketing as a university course of study that are marketers. Alright, you may call them professional marketers. Then, you and I and the lots of others like us are just ordinary marketers - but we are marketers.

Marketing is all about making yourself - your being, what you consist of and what you can offer - to be sought after by others. You may have something that is useful to others. It may be goods, intellectual property or other services. But, in order to be patronized by people, you must bring yourself to be noticed, recognized and sought after. In other words, you must market yourself. You cannot exist without marketing yourself. You need other people in order to survive and other people should need you too. No man is an island.

You must market yourself, if you want to get a job after leaving school. You must market yourself, if you want to sell the harvest you get from your farm. You must market yourself, if you want people to always flood your provision store or tailoring workshop. You must market yourself, if you are a banker and you want people to open accounts with your bank. You must market yourself, if you are a journalist and you want that politician to grant you an interview. You must market yourself, if you want people to join your Tianshi network marketing programme.

You may not have known it before now, but you are a marketer and you have been marketing yourself all your life. That is why you have been able to survive till today. So, keep it up. Discover the marketer in you and use your potentials to your benefit. You can do it.

SOME SAY (7): I do not have the time to go out in search of downlines.

And to them I say: Network building does not necessarily entail going about the town in search of downlines. You can conveniently integrate the exercise into your daily routine. Whatever your job or vocation, you are constantly surrounded by people and you are constantly interacting with people. Communication is not only by meeting people physically. Think of the telephone; think of e-mails on the internet.

It is true that the unemployment situation in the country today has caused many people to venture into network marketing and regard it as a full-time business from day one. But the basic fact about network marketing, generally, is that it is a part-time business - something you do to earn extra income in addition to your regular job. However, the time may come in the long run when the “extra” income may become your major income and you will have to make the inevitable choice of quitting your regular job and becoming a full-time network marketer. The history of Tianshi business is fraught with many of such cases.

But, as a beginner, you need not sacrifice your regular job to go hunting for downlines. Just make it a habit; make it a part of your life wherever you find yourself - at your workplace, at school, on the street, at the marketplace, in the church or mosque, anywhere. Human nature is such that whatever the mind is set to do, it manages one way or the other and finds time to do it.

SOME SAY (6): They make big, big promises which nobody benefits from.

And to them I say: Better say you have not met anybody who is successful in Tianshi. Then I will wonder if you have just come into the country, or if you have been flocking with the wrong people - those who are misinformed and biased about Tianshi, and those who jump into Tianshi believing that it is a money-magic business and jump out when they discover that there is no food for a lazy man anywhere in the world.

You have not met any of the uncountable number of successful Tianshi distributors and beneficiaries of the big, big Tianshi promises. But they are everywhere around you, all over the country. You have not met them, because you have not made yourself available so as to meet them. You have locked yourself up in your own secluded world.

You see, if you want to know what you do not know, you need to seek out those who know; you need to look beyond your present circle of friends and associates; you need to open your mind and be ready to welcome new ideas; you need to change your mentality and your general attitude to life. Then you would have made a tangible step towards discovering your hidden treasures. It will not do you any good to continue to deceive yourself that Tianshi makes empty promises. Tianshi never goes back on her promises. Tianshi has always delivered. The testimonies are on so many lips around you. Just listen and you will hear them.

SOME SAY (5): Tianshi logo looks occultic and demonic.

And to them I say: I can understand your complaint, but I am sure that you do not understand the logo. Tianshi logo is a flying lion. You are wondering why a lion should grow wings. If the logo were just a lion without wings, you probably would not have complained. And if it were a flying bird, you more certainly would not have complained. You will not complain, because both the simple lion and the simple bird are familiar sights.

But a logo, by definition, is not bound to be a familiar sight. More often than not, a company’s logo represents and reflects the mission and vision of the company. The question you should ask, therefore, is: What is the relationship between the flying lion and the company’s mission and vision?

Tianshi started its operations in a Chinese town called Tianjin, which means Lion City. The company’s name then was Tianjin Biological Development Company. (Call it a research institute or laboratory, if you like.) The company adopted a lion for a logo as a symbol of strength and swiftness and after the town Tianjin where it was - and still is - located.

In no time, the company worked up a mission and a vision for herself - to take the Chinese natural herbal healthcare to all humanity in all continents. But the lion logo, though strong and swift, could not possibly go round the world fast enough, crossing mountains and valleys, forests and deserts, rivers and oceans. The lion had to be given imaginary wings to enable it to fly to all parts of the world and accomplish its mission. Thus, the name Tianshi was born, meaning Flying Lion. Today, the company is known as Tianjin Tianshi Biological Development Company.
Now, you know the genesis of the lion and the wings. Now, you may judge for yourself: Is Tianshi logo occultic? Is Tianshi an occultic organization?

SOME SAY (4): Generally, the principle of network marketing has the resemblance of the biblical 666.

And to them I say: You say this because network marketing companies assign identification numbers to their registered customers. On this, it is worth noting that although network marketing is quite an old - but relatively new - method of product distribution, the use of customer ID numbers has long been in practice in other industries before the evolution of network marketing. Winnings on product promotions and customer incentives are organised through the use of customer ID. Banks issue ID numbers to their customers in the form of account numbers. Every organised group of people assigns ID numbers to their members and no benefits are given to the members without reference to their ID numbers. Think of schools, hospitals, companies, associations, communities, nations, even churches. The whole world uses ID numbers. Is the whole world practising 666?

SOME SAY (3): I personally do not need the products.

And to them I say: So you may think. You are on your feet; you are not confined to the sick bed. That is why you think you are healthy, but you are wrong. Noone on Earth is one hundred percent healthy. This is because the essential nutrients required by the human body are never complete and never obtained in the appropriate dosage through the normal foods we eat everyday. The body thus becomes weak due to malnourishment and is always harbouring one ailment or the other.

The key to healthy living is proper nutrition, body detoxification and adequate exercise. All these may be wrapped up in one - preventive therapy. And that is what you get by using Tianshi products.

You need to support your health. But, even if you choose to ignore the health aspect of Tianshi, you still have the business aspect to consider. Tianshi is a lucrative business; it gives you residual income, puts abundant food on your table and secures your future for your comfortable retirement at old age. A trader who sells potatoes may not necessarily like potatoes as food. Not all boat builders like riding in a boat or travelling by sea. Who said you must personally use Tianshi products in order to be a successful Tianshi distributor? One truth you must know is that out of every ten network marketers in the world (all, including those of Tianshi), as many as nine are into the programme for the financial benefits, while only one joins for the love of the products. Do your research.

SOME SAY (2): The products do not work.

And to them I say: There are quite a few people like you who claim that Tianshi products do not work. But there are millions of others who testify to their high efficacy. Where does the difference lie?

There are clearly stated instructions for recommending and for using Tianshi products. It is the failure to follow the instructions that leads to such complaints as: “The products do not work”. You need to be sure of your diagnosis, your prescription and the method of administration.
And beware of hawkers! A hawker goes about carrying Tianshi products in his hands. There is the tendency that he may confuse you and make you to buy the particular product in his hands, which may not be appropriate for your ailment.

Any Tianshi distributor, who is to prescribe and supply products to you, must not have any products physically in his hands for hawking. He must take your order on a clean slate and purchase the products from the company to meet your own specific needs.
